That is, if you have grades on 5, 10, 20 or 30, the formulas to apply are:
Note from the student/ 20= (Initial student note / Score Scale) *20* Coefficient
And
Average of student/ 20= Sum of notes out of 20 / sum of coefficients
A student's grades for a subject X are:
2/10 with Coeff 1;
9/15 with Coeff 2;
27/30 with Coeff 3
The notes become:
4 /20 Coeff 1;
12 /20 Coeff 2;
18 / 20 Coeff 3
The calculation to be made is then:
m = (4 × 1 + 12 × 2 + 18 × 3) / (1 + 2 + 3)
m = 82/6
m = 13.67
Example on a painting
R | S | C | R/S *20*C |
Student rating | Scale | Coefficient | Bring back to 20 |
2 | 10 | 1 | 4 |
9 | 15 | 2 | 24 |
27 | 30 | 3 | 54 |
Total | 6 | 82 | |
Average | 13.67 |
